Paul started out in the agricultural industry with NB Camber Ltd in 1990, from there he moved on to trading grain Shropshire Grain Ltd.

The business was bought by Wynnstay in 1999 and Paul was promoted to Senior Trader, continuing in this position when Wynnstay purchased Wrekin Grain in 2011 and combined the two businesses into Grainlink.

In 2012, he moved to Agrii Ltd as Head of Marketing, then to Countrywide as a Commodities Trader for the Western region, before rejoining Wynnstay as Arable Trade Manager in May 2015.

Charlie joined Wynnstay in 2014 having completed a degree in Agriculture at Harper Adams University.

Charlie is an Arable Sales Specialist and is currently working towards his FACTS and BASIS qualifications.

Charlie has been involved in agriculture from a young age, previously working on arable and livestock farms prior to joining Wynnstay.

As a specialist, Charlie provides arable and forage inputs advice on-farm – from soil analysis to fertiliser planning, seed selection and agronomy advice. 

Charlie covers the West Midlands, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire.

After graduating from Plymouth University with a BSc in Geography, Ed went on to study for an MSc in Sustainable Crop Production: Agronomy at the University of Warwick.

He has gained practical farming experience in both the UK and Australia.

In June 2015 after completing his MSc, Ed took up his current role with Wynnstay and, after passing his FACTS qualification, is now working towards obtaining BASIS qualifications to become a fully qualified agronomist.

Edward provides high quality, technical advice to farmers on all aspects of crop management.  

Edward covers Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Joe joined Wynnstay in 2016 on the Arable Graduate Scheme and was based at the arable office in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

A graduate of Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Food and Consumer Studies.

Joe works as an office-based Arable & Forage Trader at our Shrewsbury site. As part of his role, Joe provides bespoke arable and forage inputs advice covering all aspects of crop production for farmers.

Joe can offer competitive quotations on a range of crop production products from forage and cereal seed to agrochemicals.

As an arable sales specialist with a wealth of livestock knowledge, Sarah-Jane firmly believes she has a distinct advantage over many competitors, whom in most cases, only focus in one arena.

 Her ability to assess soil nutrition, crop selection and production, whilst considering animal nutrition and health too, sets Sarah-Jane’s offering aside. 

This solid skill set is something that still gives Sarah-Jane a real buzz, after 25 years of helping customers to meet and continue to meet the ever-changing challenges of the agricultural arena.

Chris joined the Wynnstay Arable Team in August 2017.

He previously worked in Staffordshire as a Sprayer Operator and Arable Operator, gaining a wealth of experience.

During this time, he also successfully completed his BASIS qualification at Harper Adams University – looking to pursue a career in Agronomy. 

As a Wynnstay specialist, Chris provides agronomy advice on grassland, maize, wholecrop, roots and cereals.

He also provides bespoke guidance on soil nutrition and fertiliser programmes, as well as cereal and forage seed advice.  

Chris covers Derbyshire, Staffordshire and South Cheshire.

Rebecca deals in all aspects of arable and forage farming, covering areas such as varietal selection, soil nutrition and fertiliser advice.

Rebecca joined Wynnstay in 2018 having previously worked for Agrii (Formerly Dalgety) initially in the Seed Department. She later gained promotion to South West Seed Manager and then qualified as a seed inspector. Rebecca has since gained her FACTS and BASIS qualifications. With her vast agricultural knowledge, Rebecca is able to offer advice on all aspects of arable and forage farming including variety selection, fertiliser advice and crop recommendations in the South West region.

Sarah joined Wynnstay in September 2018.   Coming from a sheep and beef farm in Gloucestershire, Sarah then went on to study Agriculture at Aberystwyth University. She previously worked for Timac Agro as a Crop Nutritionist in the Gloucestershire and surrounding area, advising farmers on soil health practises and enhancing products. Prior to this she worked for DLF Trifolium at their Breeding and Research station in Gloucestershire as a Trials Officer. Sarah covers Gloucestershire and surrounding counties offering advice on arable and forage farming including variety selection and fertiliser advice and recommendations

Kate was brought up on a family farm in Hambleton, Nr Selby, North Yorkshire. Having done an NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Business, Kate went on to complete a degree in Agriculture and Land Management. She joined Woodheads Seeds in 2012, initially in a temporary role, and was later offered a full time position as a Farm Trader. Kate completed her Crop Inspectors exam in 2012. She works from the Wynnstay Woodheads office in Selby covering the North Yorkshire region trading and technical support on cereal, herbage and forage crops, fertiliser and crop marketing.
